I write books for kids and teens. My YA novel is A BAD BOY CAN BE GOOD FOR A GIRL. My newest nonfiction books are COURAGE HAS NO COLOR, THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE BARBIE, and ALMOST ASTRONAUTS: 13 WOMEN WHO DARED TO DREAM, and my newest picture books are WHO SAYS WOMEN CAN'T BE DOCTORS?, ELIZABETH LEADS THE WAY:ELIZABETH CADY STANTON AND THE RIGHT TO VOTE and SANDY'S CIRCUS: A STORY ABOUT ALEXANDER CALDER. I have pubbed a few book reviews in the New York Times and write trade articles. I'm a big kid myself, although I play a grownup every day. The other thing I do every day, is read what others write.
